does schizophrenia start small or do you suddenly become psycho?

i saw someone wrote a list on here of symptoms of a disorder called schizophrenia, and i fit a lot of the symptoms without all the crazy crap like hearing voices and thinking people are plotting against you. could i be developing the disorder? http://bit.ly/paG479
