What is a mild form of bipolar disorder called?

Very similar to bipolar disorder but the highs aren’t as high and the lows aren’t as low. Still functional but very much of an emotional roller coaster. What is it called? What is the treatment? What is the cause? How common is it? http://bit.ly/mVdAhY
