How long does the ping my credit takes when a check is preformed take to fall off my credit?

I was wonderoing if it takes the full 7 years for the loss of points when a credit check is prefromed to be added back to my score? I had a few credit checks when shopping for a loan. I had a score of 805 and see that it has now dropped to the 780′s [...] http://bit.ly/mZgwTu
